This is my back up quad to my Chameleon, although I seem to fly this one more. The top plate is aluminum that a friend of my came up with. It has been very solid so far.

the aluminium plate is awesome, you are the first one that I know that use that on a drone. I did some design but never actually made them real. I believe it has potential in frame design. Nice work!

The tray is a cool idea to keep the battery from wiggling around. And I bet the aluminum is pretty comparable to carbon fiber!

True, we have a few good crashes with this style top plate. The battery stays in place unless the strap breaks. Also if the top gets bent you can hammer it back.
