I used Outdoor Mounting Tape to mount it to the angled panel... it is a little off-center. Then I placed a small sponge underneath the angled panel to absorb vibration. It might be worth a drop of hot glue on the camera connector since on a couple of hard landings it has popped out.
K, so... didn't like the hot glue solution so I added some pics of the new mounting I did with the bracket that came with the cam. I had to drill the hole out a little bit to get the screw in. This has an added bonus that you don't need to use the side panels if you don't want to.
