Red-Black tree

I wanted to build 3" quad based on Dialeksi's AC3 -frame (https://dima.fi/fpv/anticrime/) and have a theme color of Red and Black.

I designed and 3D printed spray painting template for the frame and also designed mounts for the Frsky r-xsr receiver and mount for Eachine TX805 VTX.
Custom VTX mount and shorter standoffs allowed me to make the whole frame 2-3mm lower and make it slimmer.

This frame is flying super smooth with these parts and BetaFlight 4.0 (default PIDs)!!! Really loving it :heart_eyes: .

Technical details

  • HD video via RunCam Split Mini 2
  • Smartaudio used to control the VTX
  • Full telemetry received from the Frsky R-XSR.

  • VTX mount to top plate
  • R-XSR receiver mount to back standoff (as close to antennas as possible)
