Custom wooden H frame I built from maple and walnut. 290ish mm, flying HQ 6030 props. She's a little chunky with an auw of 520g, I think I'll ditch the walnut arms for maple or poplar. Future upgrades for fpv and 4S are planned.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Neat! It does look heavy, but that's a unique twist. Too heavy for FPV gear?
520 grams is with a 2200 mah 3s battery, I think if I drop down to 1500 4s I might break even when I add fpv. I'll have to do some research on battery /camera/transmitter weights.
Yeah, 2200mah is too heavy for a rig this size, but how many minutes are you getting on it? Got any footage of this flying? I'd love to see it.
BTW, have you shared this on reddit? I think you might get a lot of interesting feedback. It's quite unique.
Flight time is great, possibly at the expense of less snappy maneuverability. I get over 10 minutes of moderate zipping around the back yard. You'll have to link me to the right spot on Reddit to post it. I've never used it before.
