FlexRC 3" deadcat

Flex RC frame initially intended to allocate full dji air unit in a 3" deadcat frame. Cruising around in the park until Vista came and I replaced...saved weight showed increased performance as expected.
Lightweight frame at 3mm with frame support installed on the unibody plate by a couple of screws. I though that could be loosen by flying hours but keep in possition despite several crashes.
No dificult installation, plenty of space with the vista.
I add a plastic battery holder to protect the batteries.

Very happy with this frame, I explored a custom one just to take the Vista and camera in one single structure (see yellow frame) and saved only 5grs. In PLA sustained several medium hits until it broke. So I went back to original protection.
Initially I flew with 2s on the bottom.....checking the vertical cg from the front propelers told me that might should be better on top......first flight with top mounted was totally improved flight stability and more responsive....a pleasure for cinematic flight.
This frame is not suitable for free style (on 3S you can do basic manouvres)....a lot of propwash....and finnally I got hit by a tree...so close...no way to recover...so now is RIP.

I enjoy anyway a lot....smooth fast paced flying at 2S with 100mah/minute. And very silent combination for flying in the park: 3" hurricane +1106+2S. 3s 450 is a little more noisy but plenty of power.

Love how clean this build is with the Zues and the Vista. There is an elegance in that lvl of simplicity. I kinda wish they would include a FC in the air unit.
