This was a fun tight build, but I think I managed to assemble everything quite cleanly :)
Things to note:
- I had to shorten the screws for the stack that I had at hand so that they fit under the slanted top plate. These are not the orignal ones that came with the stack since those wouldn't fit the 3rd plate.
- The Mamba FC has nice through-hole pads. I wired the Crossfire Rx wires to come from below the stack and the VTX from top. This makes for a very clean cable situation :)
- The wider part of the RUSH Cherry is wedged between the original rubber holder (it doesent fit in the channel) and the top plate. This seems to provide the right amount of pressure for it to be fixed in place and not tug the cable in case of a crash
- I created a custom trunk for the buzzer, which sticks out a bit but isn't bad enought for me to go back and fix the stl :) I had it zip-tied down to fit the back bumper better but it didn't seem necessary so I'm without atm
- The motors have a 2mm shaft so be sure to buy appropriate props! The 2mm interface feels very safe to me and can save the weight of 8 further screws
i'm studing something really similar.. how is the flight time ? had in mind to carry an instago on it.. thanks
I'm not sure how happy the frog will be with an Insta360 go on it... The build is relatively heavy so it can do about 2.5 - 3min fairly aggressive flight on 4S/450 or 3S/550 but you definitely feel the weight. If you decide to do it regardless - please do let me know!
