Kind of a random mix. Already gutted for a Roma 4" 2S Li-Ion build. The iflight frame kit is very nice as usual, with wire channel and a decent set of prints. This build was my attempt to give the Hifion F7 AIO and Split 4 Nano a chance to live in a more traditional quad, after putting it in a ridiculous 7" "toothpick" monstrosity. I didn't have the vtx and BEC I wanted for this at the time, so it ended up being a 3S build. The motors are the same 1404 7000 set I picked up during the 2S LiIon experiments. They lived on the Micro Reverb between its long range and gopro hauling iterations. The Roma 4" will be another 2S LiIon. BTW, this FC is terrific! Lots of UARTs broken out for all your gadgets and it can handle plenty of juice. I've got bidirectional dshot and rpm filtering working, but no idea how much it is helping the handling. Flies nice on 3S, but gets that same slight wobble at low 2S voltage (and 2S Li-Ion weight) that I'm used to seeing. Interested to try BH 2004 on the Roma 4". I love those motors, just wish there was a higher Kv option. The Runcam Split 4 Nano is my favorite split so far concerning hd field of view and overal look of the footage. It's even decently flyable at night, but near unflyable when recording 4k. Slideshow framerate. The Roma build will solve this with 2 nano cams, until I get a Hybrid 2. I've still not done much with the Insta360 Go, since most flights exeed 5 minutes, but I'd like to try doing a long range timelapse at some point. More building than flying these days.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
