Purchased a used Emax Babyhawk Race Pro 2.5 that had been upgraded to Spintech 1304st 8600kv motors from a dude getting out of FPV. I had flowed other Babyhawk R's before but was taken aback by the motor efficiency on 2s - 3s and even 4s without heating up. I ended up losing that quad at Dallas Drone Park shortly after breaking my back and just could not recover it.

I had to have another set of those motors and why not put them into a Spintech Slipstream with a Rushfpv F7 Mini Stack. Its like racing a corvette thats actually a tank!

There is really just assembly work here as only soldering is esc motors and power. The Slipstream is a very well thought out and designed quad that goes together easily. The RushFPV Mini stack is pretty much the same as it comes with cable connectors for cam and rx. The vtx is mmcx and Ive tried a number of omni on my builds even crushed a foxxer omni on this build, before taking photos again this is a tank of a frame but Video Aerial Systems antennas are solidly built not some near hollow plastic egg.

Running triblade on 3s and biblade 4s 650- 850mah on BF 4.2. Its a racer in every sense of the term.

UPDATE 3/28
I highly discourage anyone from using this RUSHFpv mini stack. I purchased two of them one for this Slipstream and another for a 3 inch slipstream Ive still not been able to build due to a bad esc. After months and months of back in forth over a stack I paid more than 100.00 for and never functioned I was sent a replacement. While installing that replacement stack one of the FC pins pilled lose and stayed in the ESC. Well still wanting to test my new build I proceeded to remove the FC from my working build “This one” and every single pin pulled of the FC and remained locked in the ESC pin header. That’s now three of their mini stacks have quite literally fallen apart on me brand new. I’m thinking maybe they should stick to making VTXs.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
