Fan of Armattan frames ..bored as sh..t with the confinement = 2.5 inch HD quad .

Goal here was to keep the frame intact as much as possible and it ended up being a nightmare to make everyhting fit .

Final weight is 100 gr without batt with a 5 amps consumption stationnary hovering ... now lets wait for the sun to test it for real

Cons. of this build:

  • not enought UARTs to get current sensor from the Esc (only 2 onboard)
  • USB ports are totally not usaeable whitout unmounting the caddx
  • R9 mm is near the caddx, i hope the heat won't be an issue
  • probably other issues incoming when flying in real conditions

But fun to build :)

Now that i tuned it and flew a bunch of lipos, it is just awesome ... those props are ok and flight characteristics are what i was waiting for..
In the end, the only down side of it is the FC usb port not beiing easely accessible

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
