This is my new 7 inch build, this time I had a clear idea in mind, I want to trade weight and flight time for high speed cruising performance.
So i choosed the FR7 frame for its joined arms to reduce frame floppiness. And reused the 2807 motor to carry more weight.
The dry weight reached 800g, She is a thick girl indeed~
I designed some tpu mount for the DJI VTX , GPS and all the Ants, I intensionally move all the component further back to offset the Center Of Mass a bit back,
So that I can place the batter right in the middle.
But the didn't print that well......
Awesome Build! Interested to see what flight times/overall range you can get out of it.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Creative build! Do you have STLs available?
To be honest, the TPU part is not good for printing and it feels floppy. I'm currently working on a better version.
Anyway, I will proved the STL as well as STEP file for this version on Thingiverse with a new account, My original account got locked somehow........
Here is the stl file : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4936709
OK, I have the more Compact version:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4941363
