What started out as a cheap frame off of Amazon has evolved into a solid tank. In the beginning this was the vx220 from readytosky. i had broken both front arms an the center plate the arms connect to. So i parted it out an retired the build. Untill a buddy
from Dronenation ,(an app that connects fello fpv pilots an like minded people together), who had the same frame wanted to send me a new set of 4mm arms an 3d printed parts. Reviving one of my favorite flyers an transforming into an extremely durable agile tank.
The pilot who designed this frame goes by the name NoteSure. An has a badass flying style, i like to think he's in a category of his own. This guy was going threw arms an frames like most pilots go threw props. So i guess he had enough, an decided to make his own.
With this build i didn't want to have to buy anything new component wise. an wanted to utilize what i had at hand. My biggest concern starting out was the amount of space trying to use a 30×30 stack, the standoffs sit so close to the stacks m3 holes. makes using a esc with motor pads past the hole impossible.
so i devised a plan to use a stack adapter from pyrodrone an install a 20×20 iflight mini succex stack. An then raise the m3 hardware above the m2 so i could still use the 30×30 layout and install the vtx on top. Worked out perfectly, almost perfectly that is. turns out i needed to switch out the standard standoffs for taller ones to compensate for the taller stack height.
the caddx ratel is packed in super tight as is the tbs antenna. which brings us to the tbs csfr nano rx an where to put it. There was zero room anywhere and i was sure where to put the immortal T. once i had it tucked in place an went to beta flight to check if all was good i found out i had soldered tx to tx an rx to rx instead of visaversa. After fixing that an switching them around the csfr nano rx just found its place mointed on the side of the stack.
i know i probably say this after every build i finish, this is one of the cleanest quads I've built. .

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
