First "Street League" build!

The Project399 Practice Rig is designed around a 30x30 stack, so I opted for a Talon F7 FC and Hobbywing 60A ESC.

VTX is mounted in the rear, Tracer RX is mounted up front, both using VHB. Went with the Foxeer VTX since TBS Unify Nanos were out of stock at the time. Tracer antennas are mounted horizontally on front standoffs.

Running 3 BECs to power the 5 LEDs:
1 X BEC for front arm LEDs
1 X BEC for rear arm LEDs
1 X BEC for tail light LEDs

TPU parts abound, with a rear SMA mount, generic camera mount, motor guards, arm/LED guards, a huge top-mounted battery protector, and tail light cover.

Even with the above, I had to add ~75g of steel wheel balancing weights to make the 1280g spec minimum weight.

Currently flying this on Betaflight 4.3 with a PID tune borrowed from the Street League folks, along woth some minor tweaks. ESC is running 24kHz, 27°, 100% rampup, and demag OFF.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
