Ever since DJI set foot in the HD fpv game I was set on getting the kit and start doing fpv too as I mainly flew l.o.s. This is my first HD build, the frame is sturdy and good accessible for maintenance. I did not like the look of GPS on the nose so I just tucked it behind the camera. The downside is that it 5/10 found a GPS lock which wasnt ideal to say the least. So ended up moving it on top last week. This is still my daily and it has seen some crazy crashes too, that one time full pull into a crane's arm which blew the esc did not even flinch the frame! So, I ordered another one.. yet to be build..

This is a very powerful and fun configuration, during the build I went with T-racer but also ended up converting to ELRS. As always I found a pretty good spot under the split deck for the RX. The initial build contained a speedybee v2 esc/fc combo, in 3 months my friend went through 3 speedybee esc's! (so be warned) and I knew I was just cheating death before mine would give in too. I now run a Aikon 55A esc which has been loyal so far lol :) never a speedybee for me, again.

Bf4.2 still and nothing fancy, I took my l.o.s. rates and paste it on this fpv build. works out well so far.

Aikon makes some great stuff. I use their ESCs and FCs in pretty much all my builds and have had almost zero failures under any conditions. Nice build!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
