I always wondered whether or not I can fit a DJI Air unit into the 2Fiddy frame. Turns out you can :)
With the naked AU, and some TPU (arm protector, capacitor holder, AU case and Antenna mount) it comes in at 209g.
I'm not super proud of the amateur-ish 3D designs, but if you are interested, let me know and I'm happy to share.
Motors could be a little more KV (2910 instead of 3500) but for me it feels pretty good on a 650mAh 4S.
Here's a flight, enjoy!

Ahh yea man.. This is wicked cool. I love it when people do something interesting like this. I have 3 2Fiddy's, and I fly them more than anything else that I own. I started with the standard 5", then built a 4", then tried the 4023 props from Gemfan on my other 5" 2Fiddy, and that one became my main flyer. Those 4.5" props are a sweet spot for me. Love the build man!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I'm building a new 2Fiddy for LR and actually an air unit would be interesting. I'm using 2104 motors for mine. If you can share the air unit and antenna prints that would be dope. I'd use a Matek ELRS receiver for antenna diversity and I'll put the GPS on the battery strap.
thanks! ill upload the files and send you a link in the coming days
