After building several dozen quads over the last couple of years, I figured, "What the heck! Let’s post one up!"
This particular build did present its own unique challenges soi figured I’d try to give someonea a little heads up and insight to help overcome some of the difficulties.
Firstly, ya ain’t gonna just open the box, dump everything on the bench, and figure it out yourself-- too many different size screws etc etc. FlyFish does in fact have a video posted up on YouTube but be prepared to hit the pause and rewind button OFTEN! Use that "box key" right away to hold the arms together and save yourself some time and frustration. The couple of issues I had were 1. L really is the left camera mount and R really is the right one. i knowi I know, it doesn't appear to be when installing but it is correct. 2. Instructional video has battery cables running on top of the middle plate but it made way more sense to me to run the cables between the bottom and mid plate so I could then utilize that grooved middle channel for other wires like Vista and GPS.
