This is my first build ever. After owning a camera drone for a while, I'm curious about Fpv. I bought a controller and a simulator, and I got hooked. I recently got myself a Pavo20 and flew in acro mode irl for the first time, which convinced me to build my own quadcopter. I thought a 3- to 3.5-inch frame would be a logical starting point since I’m still a beginner.
However, I quickly realized how wrong I was. This frame is not beginner-friendly. I had to flip the stack orientation, source a longer cable for the O3 air unit, and replace the stock SpeedyBee capacitor with a shorter, solid 470uF 35V capacitor to fit everything inside the frame. Despite its quirks, this frame flies beautifully, even in a 4S configuration. Coming from a 2-inch cinewhoop, this quadcopter really rips. At last, I’ve built my own quad.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
