HYPERLOW X4 is finally available!
This 8" version is perfect for GoPro and for smaller cinema cameras such as the Blackmagic Micro G2, and naked Blackmagic 4k.
It will also house the FPV cam in an extended GoPro mount so you can get props free HD recording or streaming with your DJI 03 and 04 units making it ideal for drift events, long range, and more.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Hi I wanted to ask you for advice I would like to build the same build that you did but I wanted to use some motors that I already had which are the 2808 of the t motor of 1300 kv and using some esc always t motor of 55 A
do you think it can work with the Blackmagic Micro G2 on top
Hi. Personally i prefer using the bigger motor and bigger props, but theres no reason they wont work. I just like have extra power, even if I dont use it. But the 2808 should cruise just fine. I used them with 7" props carrying a naked blackmagic, but did switch them out for 2810 which were much better. 2812 and 8" is def my favorite. The 55a esc should work fine. You could try the 2808 and then switch them out if they prove to be too weak.
In your opinion, could this frame be used for long range with a GoPro on top or does it have too low a battery life considering it is a heavy frame?
you can do long range. it might be 100g heavier than some 8" frames. but its also over 200g lighter than the 10" helion which is touted as a long range drone. so with this able to do a 9" prop it puts it in a sweet spot. no limit on battery size if you attach in on the bottom. some of the li-ons are near 1000g so frame weight is not a huge factor.
