I tried using some spare parts to build a cinewhoop on a frame I designed myself. It sucks. Don't build this. The motors are mismatched and I CNC milled the top plate from alum because when it was milled from plastic it would vibrate and then runaway from I windup. It also has one of the most garbage stacks in existence.
However, it does fly, and I now have a quad that can safely be hand launched and recovered while continuously shooting video on a full size gopro, so all is not lost.
