RotorX Atom v3 DIY (RX122)
Straight forward atom build with stackable DYS F4 and F20A.
VTX (TBS Unify Pro V2) is controlled via OSD through SmartAudio.
This was my first brushless build, and went much easier than I expected. DYS stack made things clean and simple.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How do you think the 3" atom V3 would do with a Kiss CompactCTRL, and Brotherhobby 1407 3600kv?
never tried KISS.. you'd probably save a few grams given that the ESC's are bundled with the FC and it will likely make the build a bit less tight, though you'd need to consider the lack of OSD. I'm pretty happy with Betaflight, especially with PID setup via OSD, and the DYS stack means there's no soldering between the FC and ESC's.
1407 - supposed to give more torque, but I'm not at a stage where it's critical for me. I get about 5 min (non aggressive) flight time on 850mah with the 1306/4000kv.
Do yo Have any running videos? Or pictures? I'd like to see more of your set up.
No running videos, I can take some pictures on weekend if that will help.
What are you looking to see?
i actually decided to use DYS F4 and 4 in 1 ESCs like you did but with a Diatone SP3 Stackable VTX and cant figure out how to fit everything under the frame even without the vtx. would like to see your layout.
take into consideration that if you also want to put a receiver inside the canopy. it will be tight - very tight. I have the X6B rx in there, which is stackable.. but haven't stacked it for that reason, instead it's wrapped in tape and sits on top of the FC. my VTX is tiny and glued to the canopy, it holds the RX in place (tight).
in any case - I'll organise pictures for you by the weekend.
Thanks I appreciate it.
Added a couple of pictures.
I think i see what im doing wrong. what size stand offs or, what are you using to isolate the ESC from the frame?i noticed yours is really shallow. I was placing the esc on regular stand offs which was taking up a lot of space.. also, did the rear mounting brackets for the canopy come with your kit? thanks again. i really like this kit.
if I recall correctly, I used short the mounts that came with the ESC.. this will help -
the rear mounting brackets for the canopy? not sure which you mean.. but everything came with the kit.
