I just love the look of this frame. And if the vids by NJ Tech and RC Addict are anything to go by it should fly just as well as it looks. This is only my second build, wiring the PDB and FC were easy but it got tight and more tedious after that. It's a total mess under the hood but everything works so I'll call it a win. If you're interested in the frame I'd recommend just grabbing the STL files for the canopy and having them made. Here in the US I had Shapeways make a few in their "strong & flexible" plastic and with shipping they were under $10 each. They definitely feel more durable than the one I got directly from Ready Edi. Also note the frame only supports "one hole" full sized cameras. My original intent was to use a Monster V2 but the raised areas around the 3 mounting holes make the camera too wide to fit. The only work around is to file down those raised ares. NJ Tech talks about this in his build of the stretch (SX) version of the frame. I may do that at some point in the future but for now the 1177 works fine.

July 2017 UPDATE - The folks at Ready Edi sent me the new version of the Beast X canopy. Injection moulded rather than 3D printed, the quality is much improved. Definitely better and the ones I had printed myself. They are cheaper as well so double bonus. With that I really can't recommend printing them yourself as I initially had. Well done Edik, thanks!
