Hi there! I have followed your build and pretty close to done with it... still waiting for the cam and vtx. I have motors wired to the esc and fc is connected and I can connect to betaflight and run the motors and stuff. The receiver is not yet connected.

Here is my problem... when I spin the motors, it seems to spin CW and CCW... Upon research, the ESC is capable of bidirectional spin. Upon more research, I think once I bind to a receiver and default to angle mode, the motors will be spinning 1 direction only. I am kind of hoping for that.

What was your experience? Did you have any trouble like me? I am still a noob with building... any tips? Thank you in advance.

Hey, I'm not the builder but thoughts on motor spin direction. They will not all spin in one direction when in angle mode. They have to spin in the direction that is on the BetaFlight motors screen. 2 CW and 2 CCW. You can download the "BL Heli Suite" to change the direction that each motor spins and you almost always have to do this.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
