haha I'm using spintech 1106 motors on one Kwad and Emax se1106 motors on the other and they both need the 28a 4in1 esc boards I'm using.. both systems will suck down 80amps at full gas

I have a hard time believing the truthiness in this ... are you sure your current sensor is calibrated? If you're pulling 80A on 1106, you're probably over-propping hard or your sensor isn't calibrated. Assuming some 550mah battery, you'd need a 145C battery to hit that number. My 1407/4s/4" cow running on 1300mah can't even hit that ... on the right props my 2205 5" builds barely cross the 80A mark.

From the benchmarks I used - I will need to find the prop and motor combo testing - the escs and motors required 15 ish amps at peak thrust. Ideally I will never see that level of thrust. However, I like having a good amount of room to play with.

I think Skronk has it partly right. Although I'm not 100% sure about his current readings. I would like to see a calibrated PSU and see what It gives us.

thats static draw on the bench and its what my watt meter is saying.. I'm not over propping it I'm jaming 16v into it.. motors get a bit warm but its not as bad as the poor tattu 650mah 4s batteries im using ;)
flight time isn't great.. just under 2minutes and its time too put it down but its really, REALLY bloody fast..
my next build is using spintechs 1106 8000kv monsters. they'll pull over 20amps each on 2s..

ohh and my mate engineer X has the red bottoms in bound and will test them at 3 and 4s. will be nice to have some tangible numbers for the second baddest micro motor on the market

woof. beasts!... i'm just gonna keep poking around on my 1103's that barely pull 3A on full load :)

Yeah that's a pretty tight setup I'm running the HGLRC XJB 428 stacks

I will need to try that stack out when I get to building the next one. I like the setup.
