So once I got on the floss train. My Chameleon started kinda of feeling weak....felt slow sluggish hard to recover and I really just need to rebuildit with some bigger motors.

but first I wanted to try something. I mounted my Runcam on my 2205 3022kv Floss and its flew pretty well, lack a little grunt and ate though batteries but it worked well enough.

This is my attempt at making a lightweight floss better for carrying a Runcam/Gopro.

Frame - floss enough said. It just flies so great even for acro it hard to build something else..... My weights are.

294 grams dry
460 with a 1300mah Grahpene
530 with a Runcam 3.

For the stack I originally choose the DYS FC+4 in 1 but due to the lack of bobbins on the FC, and dealing with the floss arms I ended up holding the DYS FC for something else and went with the simpler and lighter Pyro F4 which I had laying around. The 4 in 1 is mounted then the bobbins on top then the FC. Combo was super easy to solder up and should be great for my purpose of 4s on Cyclone, HQ 4.3 and 5040 with an AUW with Runcam off around 530 grams. I am running D shot 600 and 32/32 with no issues.

The motors are budget with out being budget. After three flights they are not as quick as my 2204 3022 kv 360 gram AUW weight race quad, but they are easy to fly, never lacking power for fun. No complaints and for people looking to save money on motors with out getting crap these are a great choice....when they are in stock,

For the FPV system the I choose the Swift Mini for its ability to run 1.8 lens and yet still fit more easily into the tight confines of the OG floss. The DYS Mi200mw was choosen because it actually broadcast at 800mw+ and is a cheap high MW solution.

What else can I say for 240 ish dollars is the best Daily driver I have so far. Flies well with or with out the runcam. Its basically the goldilocks quad until the next hypetrain comes around.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
