"it has a(one to be exact) rotor"

my first airplane!!! EEEKKK!!!
built out of recycled quad parts

Built this thing up last night. Came out to 130 grams prior to FPV gear and beside some funkiness getting my Transmitter to rebind. Super easy to whip up.

Using a Lemon 6 channel because the Lemon SATs have been dead reliable. This one continues the trend of cheap, but quality parts. After I couldnt configue my EMAX 12a ESC with BEC I gave up on it and literally have dozens of 20a Racestar ESC lying around. To use it I would need another PDB so I found the super cheap Matek Mini which seemed like the perfect solution until it wasnt. The 5v wasnt providing solid 5volt power for the Receiver so I ended up having to run a Pololu off the PDB, but with 5 volts the receiver finally rebound and started working correctly. Everything else I have ever used from Matek has been solid so this was just bad luck.

The little 2.5 gram plastic servos should work great and durability shouldnt be an issue at only 140 grams AUW once FPV gear is installed. Solid 5 dollar all is good. The motor is again recycled quad parts and push the HQ 4043 on 2s really easily. As a beginner its more than enough power for me.

As for flying.......I haven no reference and have only flown LOS. I need to get better at flying it before I make any comments

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
