This quad was build to specifically carry a GoPro 5 or 6. Since it uses a tbs crossfire micro receiver, it can also be used for long range adventures.

Originally I used 6x4.5x2 Gemfan propellers, but I've recently replaced them with HQ V1S 6x4x3. AUW is 775g, but the F80 with the 6 inch props provide so much thrust, that its carries the GoPro with ease.

The motors are double soft mounted (i.e. on top and below), not only to counteract vibrations, but also because the C-Clip of the motors is bigger than the hole the arms of the frame provided. The camera mount was also custom made for this frame and the GoPro 5/6. I've only tried it with the GoPro 5 due to lack in funds, but both cameras share the same body, so it should fit.
The mount was printed out of RigidInk TPU and has a hole at the bottom, where you can insert a strap to secure the camera. On the last pictures you can see the mount is secured with nylon spacer, but only on the front. The idea behind that was, that in case of a crash, the screw holes on the back breaks, but the front ones don't, so that the mount with GoPro doesn't flies of that easily. I had one big crash on wet (therefore really hard) sand and the mechanism worked quit good. The front screw holes broke, but I found the camera in perfect condition, less than one meter away from the quad itself. You can find the mount here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2666460

Update 07/31/2018:

I now use Tattu R-Line 14.8V 95C 1800mAh Lipos, which give me more than 5 minutes of flight time, while still keeping some agility. Haven't measured the new AUW though.
