Pink Talon

It's controversial if a vertical frame provides real difference in flying quads. I decided to try it and answer by myself. Additionally, the (photoshopped) pink talon was too attractive to deny. However, I pre-ordered the pink frame in the first batch and the production of the pink aluminium parts was far from the (photoshopped) pink color. It was a shame but I was really curious how this frame feels, so built the frame instead of refund; The designer of the frame now has real pink color aluminium.

Concept of this build is a vertical frame quad in sexy pink color with the best and light weight components in the market at the moment (I ordered the frame and the parts in Sep. last year). Pink aluminum screws, nuts, and motor wire sleeve are used for the pink color theme. Dry weight (without props, battery, and HD camera) is 292g.

How does the vertical frame feel like? It is fantastic! I've never felt such a smooth and sharp maneuver in turning. It was like jaw dropping. A vertical frame definitely makes difference. This frame is designed for racing but I have no reason not to use this frame for freestyle as well.

Maiden flight. This frame feels so nimble in the air and gives me jaw dropping cornering!
