This is the new 'Tiny Whoop' style frame from Halo RC called the 'Cyclic'. I have enjoyed building this up and here I am going to share my views on the frame.
The actual frame itself is made from PLA+. This filament creates a stronger and rigid frame, which is excellent if you are like me and crash into everything :). The motor mounts however, are made from TPU. This creates a strong fix for the motors and stops them from popping out. The TPU also helps absorb some of the vibrations you will encounter whilst flying. This provides a smoother performance and helps the flight controller.
The FC will fit nicely inbetween the crosses of the PLA+ nicely. You will still use the rubber grommets that slide into the slots on your FC as they will sit ontop of the PLA. Then, you will add the screws which will hold the flight controller in place and stop it from moving. I found mounting my flight controller much easier than with a normal frame as you do not have the problem of the grommets falling out.
The battery is secured inbetween two PLA+ side cheeks and a rubber band. I found this beneficial as the rubber band provides more friction than the typical plastic 'cage' style, and I have yet to eject a battery. You will want to hook the ends of the rubber bands before you screw the camera mount in to provide a strong fit.
The camera I have used is the FX900TW. It uses a TPU mount which screws into the frame (same as FC). As the frame is a Wide X, I do not get any of my props in my camera shot, which is brilliant if you did not like seeing the ducts/props in other frames (see video attathed).
In general flight performance, I found this frame performed just as good, if not better than my old 'ducted style' Tiny Whoop frames. I really enjoy racing through small spaces and through gates with this thing. If I was to hit a gate, I would definitley be able to just bounce back off and continue quickly. I also found this frame to be better at recovering after a quick loss of altitude (e.g. split-s gates).

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
