02/18/19 - 1108 5000kv motors purchased, wires braided, and installed on the frame. They're much lighter than the 1407's and I have a feeling they will spin 3 inch props very well.

02/27/19 - Mamba stack has arrived. Do I use the SDR2 or the Runcam Robin? DECISONS MAAAAAN!

03/01/19 - Robin got the nod. Some important things to note if you use the Mamba stack on this frame. In order to make the ESC fit you have to use 10mm M2 screws with M2 Nylon nuts and the white washers that come with the Mamba standoffs. This combination gives you just enough height to clear the feet of the roll cage. The stock Mamba standoffs push the stack too high and you will not be able to install the roll cage around it. It will simply be too tall. I also used shorter than stock standoffs between the ESC and FC. This gave me just enough clearance to install both sides of the cage. The best method is to have the front "teeth" meet the baseplate and then work the rear "feet" into place. I have still not perfected it and it feels like a puzzle that you have to fight with until it magically slides into place. RX and VTX placement will have to be a little creative.

I have just the slightest bit of tuning to do to really lock it in but it goes exactly where I want at the speed I want when I tell it. The canopy I used is actually for the 2.5 model. Working on getting the 3 inch one.
