2x 1300mAh CNHL Black batteries in parallel gives 8-12 minutes of battery depending on flying style. Plenty of time to do multi mile mountain bombing runs which is what this build will be used for.

As of March 2020 this build moved to crossfire because R9 is trash with multiple pilots.

UPDATE July 15th
Still flying like a champ. Soldered SMA pigtails into the air unit to eliminate the terrible mmcx connectors. Added a new antenna mount to the rear which puts the VTX antennas in a much better location. Also added a BN220 gps above the gopro mount. Locks 10+ sats fast, and keeps locked during flight.

What are the motor wire protectors? 3d printed or part of the frame kit?

They came with the XL7 frame. I thought it was a good idea so I'll definitely be 3D printing these from PETG for future builds.

Until recently GoPros were delegated to larger quads. A typical GoPro weighs around 125g and we've only recently begun to mount them on 3" cinewhoops. Even that is a stress on the motors.
