Current test build, don't mine the antennas not wrapped just ran out after moving the receiver. This little bugger is fast. I usually throw a bigger battery on it, with no gopro to try and get a little more time, because it happily burns packs without batting an eye. Running a 1000uF 25V cap on the lead helps keep the noise on the system down and it flies like an angry dream. -----More pics to come soon.

Nice to see another Frog build! This is my go-to rig at the moment. Is that the race version?

It is, I probably should have gotten the lite with the replaceable arms with how fast this little guy is, I'm bound to break something. I only ran a few packs through it last weekend, I had some video noise issues to get sorted, but my god did it get after it. Gonna take it out this weekend and put some more packs through it. I really like the AL sides, but it didn't give me a lot of room for routing the esc power wires from under the board.

I'm happy with the race version. It makes for a much cleaner build. If it breaks then so-be-it. I may just get another.

That's why I went with it, I like the single piece look over the assembled look. I've been lucky enough to not snap anything yet (lots of soft object collisions) but this guy feels like it can go fast enough to make any crash a catastrophe.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
