Heyo Clutzz, what batteries are you running on this? I'm strongly considering skipping 5" and going right down to 3". What do you think about building one of these as a step up from the Tiny Whoop?

Clutzz   Jul 10, 2016

I wouldn't fly it inside like the tiny whoop, but I freaking love the 3". Powerful and a blast to fly.
Running Propsman 850mah 45c batts.

Yeah, seems like 3" is the way to go right now. What's your favorite 3" frame if not this one?

Clutzz   Jul 12, 2016

Ha so far, this is my fav out of 3 (stingerbee and mrm micro scythe), and most durable.

I'm putting together a secret project from a buddy Huntro, will have that here soon :)

Do you skip a PDB? How do you handle voltage drop for camera/vtx/rx?

Clutzz   Apr 19, 2016

PDB is there! running a 5v Pololu for FC.
VTX is getting battery power and feeding 5v regulated to the camera.

Any chance at a close up shot of the stack? also, whats the AUW on this build?

Clutzz   May 04, 2016

Posted a build vid here! AUW is 242g after chopping antenna.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

FPV has had quite a journey. Just a few years ago we started racing drones around a track and doing flips over trees, but professional cinematic FPV is a more recent development. DJI has always owned the drone photography market, but smaller acrobatic drones are starting to enter the market. They have the advantage of close proximity flight indoors and around people. There's more artistic freedom and..
