Getting back into the R/C hobby after several years of chasing other interests and this is my first quad build. I previously spent my time flying helicopters primarily so I look forward to something new and different.

I'm also looking at building the big brother to this, the Armattan Chameleon.

How do the motors do with the 3076 props? Those must grab a pretty good chunk of air! Do the motors run hot at all at that kV?

Well, it is important to note that this is my first quad, so at this point I'm just doing simple flying around, not pushing it hard at all. Under those conditions the motors don't get hot at all. "-)

That looks fantastic! What did you use to wrap the wires on the arms?

Thanks! I really enjoy the building process and trying to make it look good.

The wire just has 2-3 layers of electrical tape on it. I don't expect it will protect the wires from being chopped up, but it keeps them tidy.

You sure did a nice job of applying that electrical tape. I can never make it look that good.

Haha, thanks! I just took my time, it is a single width of tape just going over the same spot a few times to make it a bit thicker.
