This was my first brushless quadcopter. It's not so budget by today's standards but over a year ago it seemed like a pretty good value. I had a great time learning with this beast especially after I added FPV and goggles.

It would be cool to see some footage from your gimbal & Yi :) You can paste Youtube URL's into the discussion and it will display the video.

I tried for months to get decent footage out of my CX-20. That took me through a 3D printed 2-axis gimbal, a Mobius, a Yi, a 3-axis gimbal, F450 frame, SunnySky 980kv motors and a prop balancer. It never compared to the quality of a P3 Standard. Frustrated, I gave up.

Nice! My first brushless quad was the Cheerson CX-20. I had some good times working on that quad. The shell is just so fragile though.

The shell is very thin and brittle for sure but luckily I haven't had to put it to the test. Felt pretty nostalgic getting it out for photos so I'm going to take it up for some flights this weekend.

I've had my F450 sitting on my dresser for a couple weeks. Been really tempted to take it out for some LOS. After doing FPV you'll probably feel very underwhelmed flying the CX-20 with a gimbal. It's nice for aerial still shots at least.
