Hey DD, those are vibration dampening spacers! They're prototypes and were made by Trueblood Engineering, who also made the antenna mount for this build. I met him at a race and he gave me some samples of the spacers! The spacers are a bit stiffer than a regular O-rings but they seem to do the job great and have resolved yaw twitches on one of my mpu6500 builds. Trueblood says they'll be coming out with different thicknesses and colors, these ones replaces 3.5mm spacers(http://imgur.com/a/tcuPL).
Interesting! I love the idea of that. Have you seen the new RaceFlight mounts? I'm not a huge RF fan, but damn if they didn't do a good job creating some vibration isolation mounting options.
