My newest 2.5 inch build and definitely my cleanest. I've built a bunch of other micros but never found a frame I liked until I got the eclair. Hoping to maiden this weekend and glad to finally fly a micro with a decent camera.

LOVE airblade products man. I run the Eclair V2 3 inch version with 3600kv motors and the hglrc F428 stack and it is my favourite freestyle quad in my fleet... I have 3 x 5" quads that all fly awesome but for some reason I never have as much fun as I do with the Eclair 3".... Long flight times, plenty of punch and just feels great in the air... Also Im not sure this is intentional but the carbon seems to be more flexible than others Ive seen... most people would look at this as a bad thing but with micros one of the biggest problems is "model resonance", or the frequncy at which the whole machine vibrates at. WIth the softer carbon it seems to absorb those high frequency oscillations and I got away without soft mounting anything and I have zero jello or prop-wash

Very clean build! Hate to say it, but you handled all the fitment SO well that the yellow/orange/red not matching really jumps out :/ Still looks very symmetrical and tidy, I have to assume she flys like a dream :)

Haha thanks for the comment! I actually didn't have much choice over the color scheme. These were just the colors that I had at hand or that I received by shipment. I did a test hover and it all went smooth so hopefully i get to test it out soon!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
