AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Interesting idea to mount the camera.
What material do you use? Is this a thin alloy stripe?
And out of curiosity ... how robust is the frame? (the arms looking a somewhat thin to me)
Yes camera mount is hand made from Alloy slide.... like from Brico or OBI it is part of roof!

Aluminium thick is 0.6mm and very easy to process it cut and drill it like plastic but alloy is more durable...
I drew shape like "L" cut and hole then curve it! I did canopy from this type of alloy

Arms of Hantu.....
thick is enough problem is around the screw! Bcus there is 3mm hole for standoff! It is the weakest point!
Breakable!
Kudos! Very elegant solution.
I really like such small details, and also experienced, alloy is way stronger and more robust than 3D printed parts.
In my earlier versions of the Standar II green/red/purple builds I used 2mm Alloy and build an SMA antenna holder. This was rock solid though.

That said, these SMA connectors are quite heavy. I recently replaced them with nano-VTXs (just 350mW instead of 600mW) and bought better Antennas for my goggles. So I have same distance and saved almost 20g of weight! :)
About the weakest point around the whole - you're right.
I had a similar and bad experience with a 3 inch build (Atlas 130 frame) and do not use this frame anymore since then. https://rotorbuilds.com/pictures/f_5939_sd4Y0zhnlBjAXW99VyJYW5GTz.jpg
