This was probably the most tedious yet simple tiny whoop builds Ive done so far! I possibly lost faith in BetaFPV. Time will tell!

This is one attempt of building a custom racing tinywhoop! The cockroach V2 frame seems perfect for 65mm racewhoop especially with an unlimited lifetime warranty!

Originally i purchased the BetaFPV 1s 5a ELRS Whoop AIO, and dropped it in the frame with a set of Tmotor 0802 25000kv whoop motors! My hopes were set high! I also chose to save as much weight as possible by using a Mobula6 canopy with Runcam Nano3. However, after plugging in the whoop on the bench to configure and test, we ran into issues. those issues are briefly documented in the pictures below.
(Be aware, ive heard through resources, BetaFPV is aware of the gyro issue, and is working to rectify the problem. However, to be safe, i recommend using the bootloader first thing and flashing newest 4.3 firmware regardless! Do not even power via usb without flashing this board!)

After a bit of debate, and not wanting to wait for a new board, i chose to use a HappyModel CrazyBee F4 ELRS Whoop AIO. I think these will mostly be my go to whoop board for now on!

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
