this is another remix build.
A good friend of mine sent me this cinewhoop. Its a Reptile Cloud 3" frame from Catalyst MachineWorks.
As fir 3d prints, James Buck Sr. is responsible for all, and the custon paint and hydrodipping, you can find him on FB if you want to contact him for fpv stuff! The link below to Dlew81 Thingiverse prints, was not all orinted and used. Only the FPV camera mount, and the SMA mount. The ImmortalT standoff hooks are just generic hooks that were printed!
Fitted with a Mamba F4 Mini Power Tower flight controller with Black Mamba F25 Mini 4in1esc. Diatone is by far my top choice for durability and performance so i left that all alone! Motors are RaceStar 1407 3500kV for just the right amount of juice for a basic 4s cinewhoop to begin with! Not too much power, and by far, not too little!
There was no receiver installed when i received this build, so i chose to slap in an R9 mini so i coukd flash it with ELRS, however, this FC for some reason doesnt allow for passthrough flashing for some reason! I actually wasted a full day of working at it, just trying to flash the receiver. No clue why it doesnt work, but what i ended up doing was removing the receiver, connecting it to a whoop FC(HM Diamond F4) and flashing it, and then reinstalling on the Mamba! Now it works just fine!
In my experience this far (4+ years in FPV) i actually am very impressed with AKK video components, so when i saw the FX3 vtx, I felt it adequate fir what this build woukd be geared for. 600mW is by far enough for the range this guy will be good for!
Credit is also due to James Buck Sr. and David Motto, two great members of our amazing FPV community!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

If anyone might be able to lend some knowledge, this build flies great, and i have no issues with anything. However, when i connect to do any esc configuring, for some reason esc configurator doesnt recognize esc #2 and #3. The motors spin and i have no errors in Betaflight, but the esc configurator gives no info for them, and wont let me flash those esc either? Anyone seen this before?
