i dont have much to say about this build. I just removed the internal vtx from the AIO, and added a different (more stable) 200mW vtx, and also added an ImmersionRC Ghost rx with mini ImmortalT antenna.
Since i went all out optimizing the components somewhat, i ejded up giving it a facelift and adding pLa prop guards for some flare!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. Love my TH2Race - Was my first real quad. Nice paint! Interesting solution for the vtx - right behind the camera; kind of a DIY AIO cam now haha. I added an eachine nano 400mw vtx to my TH2FS, but definitely wouldn't have had the space to install the same way on my TH2Race.. may have to borrow your idea now. Nice post! Please include video if you have any!
thats actually the receiver behind the camera, the vtx i added is underneath the canopy! ill post some flight vid when u can get some!
ah - then just a heads up your post says it's a 200mw vtx - cheers
thats because it is just a 200mW vtx. the build is just for racing i dont need HV vtx power
dude I'm a dumbass I misread earlier comments twice about it being the rx and not the vtx my b lol
