I have finally made an attempt to somewhat build a race rig! HaHa, however my true intention with this is an overly powerful cliff diver/mountain cruiser, thats lightweight as a race rig!
The Flywoo Vampire II- HD is a super lightweight racing frame with a beautiful appearance, design, and is durable in crash situations! I need to start practicing racing, but i have always felt "racing specs" made for the perfect mountain surfing setups! So here it is! I guess we'll call it a mountain racer, cliff smasher!? HaHa!!!!
After the frame came the iFlight Succex-A F4 40a AIO, which definitely helped with minimizing my weight! the motors i decided to use, were older, and used, therefore they had short wires that i needed to decide how to extend, but single esc were not necessary! 40a 4in1 should be be plenty of power for this application!
The motors are from Rebel Quads andbhave been discontinued. They are 2306 2200kv motors. Rated up to 5s, these should be plenty peppy on 4 or possibly even 6s!? they will also give decent duration in flight time since my weight is down on the lower end! They also look gorgeous popping out if the black carbon and gold TPU!
I finally am buikding a digital rig, so we settled with a CaddX Vista that has a DJI OG camera on it. The camera may not be the lightest, butnit gives a damn good picture. Im excited to fly digital for a change!
Overall i am happy with this buikd this far! I will likely end up making some kind if changes, eventually maybe change the cam or add a gps unit. I do have a Flywoo nano bluetooth module i want to integrate! So until then, here HE is! Crimson Stark!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
