Chopsticks Mk2

This is my second attempt at creating a quadcopter using bamboo chopsticks as frame. This one actually flies :) Mk1 was using the EMAX F3 FEMTO flight controller, and it seems in retrospect, that the MPU9250 just could not handle the vibrations. After many experiments with chopstick lengths and frame reinforcement techniques, I have finally decided to try another FC, and it worked, the quad flies OK with the XJB F428.

The frame is built from two carbon fibre center plates from Armattan Productions, and four pieces of chopsticks (the link for the latter in the Parts List is not the URL for the actual sticks I bought, I could not find them online). The chopsticks are epoxied to the bottom plate, and the top plate and FC+ESC stack are attached using M2 screws.

Motors are mounted using a few motor mount plates from AP, which currently are not glued to the frame. I will see if this works OK in the long term, but I may have to epoxy them if they start slipping.
