All joking aside, that's a purdy kwerd
the rear antenna in the back is the stock one in a plastic tube?
It's a homemade jobo, one of the rocket scientist guys from midrange mountain surfers facebook group designed it and someone else did a video on how to make it if you want to check it out https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXtO2DcYocuJ88k46LrAlI0kvBilryplX.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. I'm also looking to build my first 7" and was thinking about the same motors. I was recommended to take 1200kv (6S) or 1500kv (for 6S and 4S). I see your build has the 1750kv motors, why did you choose these? And what do you think of lower KV motors?
i wouldnt want to fly 4s on 1500kv its slow enough on 1750. I just use a throttle cut of 20% on 6s, flies like a dream. I know people running 2200kv 6s 7" altho that is a bit extreme.
Do you use it for cruising or more freestyle?
A bit of everything, it'll cruise steadily, at 45mph 20A but its nice to be able to rip some freestyle at 70mph when i feel like it.
