an extremly wrong build, supposed to be a fast agile racer turned to be a cruiser.
as i was building every miniKwad mainly as a 3S capable kwad, i always choose parts which can handle 2-4s lipos. but this build is different, the (older emax MT1806) motors support(ed) up to 6" props but only up to 3s.
UPDATE I: as the emax motors were spinning too slowly and weren't capable of handling more than 3s LiPos, i've ordered some new stuff: DYS 2008 2550kV motors. now the so called "purple215" turns into "red215". will call it "the evil red purple215".
UPDATE II: will change the flight controller to the matek f4 ctr (from my 8" LonRang), to get rid of the pdb and save some weight and gain some space in the stack.
UPDATE III: i had some spare amaxinno motors laying around, and swapped the DYS ones for them.

Hello, how is your Flysky FS-A8S receiver doing? What range do you get on it, what radio do you have with it?

I really don't have any issues with the fs-a8s receiver. I also have done the rssi mod on all my fs-a8s and the fs-x6b.
I have the flysky nirvana nv14, with the opentx image provided by flysky on their website.
