Rekon 6" Custom Mid-Range 6s Nebular Pro - F722 - 2203.5

I'm in the process of establishing a long-range build tailored for extended flights in alpine regions.
The motors seen in this build are not suitable - it wasn´t posible to tune the quadcopter well. I replaced them with T-Motor 2203.5 which was the better choice in the end.

For prolonged flights, I've opted for 4s Li-Ion INR21700-40T 4000mAh - 35A, providing both endurance and capacity. Additionally, I plan to use 6s Li-Po for extra boost.

The build is nearly complete. I've substituted the original 3D prints with red TPU ones and incorporated landing skids. Some minor adjustments, such as organizing the motor cables and setting up the longer Triumph Pro Antenna, are still pending.

Hey Nice build, on what values did you set the PID? i am using T-Motor 2306 1950KV my motors are getting hot

Thanks - after unsuccessfully trying to tune the quad, as the motors were not a fit to the whole set up, I changed to T-Motor 1500KV, 2203.5. And even then, I had difficulties finding/setting a good tune. I imagine your motors to have too hight KV as well - that would be my explanation.

Simply just needed to state Now i am happy that i stumbled onto your page

Nice to hear that. May I ask why - are you on a similar build?

Looks like those are powerful motors for a light weight build. Any more pics? :)

Cine UAV   Apr 26, 2022

Yes, they are powerful - how efficient they are I will see. I choose those 2300kv to hopefully have decent RPM when the 4s voltage is getting to it´s end (~11V).

Hey! Yes, I want long flight time - therefore light weight. With the frame I am locked to motors with 12mm12mm mounting pattern. I have now changed to 2205 with 2300kv. The initial motors i picked (2305.5 / 1950kv) had 16mm16mm pattern, therefore impossible to be mounted.

Looks like you are going for a light weight build? Is that the reason for the smaller motors?

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
