Fast and light, my third SCX build, this one was testing new kit, F7 flight controller running Dev release of Betaflight 3.2, dshot1200 to blheli_32 escs and those efaw monsters. Flies very smoothly, thinking I could just remove the lipo and power it with hype!. Replaced the lock nuts on the efaw with low profile ones after losing a couple in crashes, shafts were not long enough really for OEM nuts
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How do u like those efaw motors?
Interesting one, I got batch 2 I believe. By hand they make a weird rattling sound when I spin them (makes you think of lose magnets), in the air they have a screaming noise at mid throttle and higher, they are, in short, the most worrying sounding motors I own. If I just tried spinning them by hand and was new (or perhaps wasn't so stupid) I may have been put off and / or sent them back. In the air i don't have any other motors that are as smooth or locked in, my f40 pros may match them, but they really are good, it may be the escs running dshot1200 at 42khz pwm are helping, but they have the torque for any 5inch prop, transition speeds are unbeatable which is what is making them smooth, loads of power but actually decent efficiency for acro (if you don't live in the last 20% of the throttle band for the whole flight). Really like them
