As of Dec 2017 the Reverb is ImpulseRC's newest frame. Designed by Chad Nowak aka FInalGlideAus aka FGA the Reverb deconstructs the Alien and tweaks the bits to fix the shortcomings and annoyances that Chad saw and fixed the number 1 complaint about the Alien - it's price.
The result is a stiff, near X frame that flies beautifully and is easy to build and maintain but is very reasonably priced with no compromises.
Flies like a motherfucker.
Verry nice build man! Quick question.. did you power the fc from the reverb pdb? Does the matek f7 take direct lipo power? I have a matek f405 osd with a matek fchub.. and am currently building it into my reverb.. but i think i cant do it with the stock pdb..
LOL@reasonably priced!!! $till OVER $100.
It's relative.
It costs about 3/5ths the price of an Alien and about 3/4 the price of a Chameleon/Rooster so for an original top of the line acro frame it is reasonably priced.
Oh an if you are getting the price from ImpulseRC's site make sure your selecting the right currency - ImuplseRC is an Aussie company and the AUD price is over $100. I think the USD price is more like $80-something.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

got one of these on the go for KC Detroit fun... will definitely fly the fuck out of it! Similar setup but with hypetrains although I might still go with the F40 Pro 2400's abd use those for another build. I have the f-40's on an Alien 5" and love those motors...
and you know what? expensive is a totally relative concept- good frames feel awesome so if it's 30 or 40 bucks more...meh who cares...
awesome build btw...
