My first build is a tiny whoop and it is currently underway. I was able to order the parts from the following suppliers: NewBeeDrone; Amazon; TinyWhoop.com; RaceDayQuads; and, GetFPV.

Update: TW has been assembled and inaugural flight, + 20 more, has been had and everything works. Started with the silver motors in the quad from the three pack that I purchased, have already slid the black motors in and have ordered tri-props tor replace the four-blade props that I started with on this project.

Had a phone call with redditor minichado to help me understand pid tuning and setup of betaflight.

Flying via rotorrush when possible to get stick time on the sim in hopes that it translates to real life skill.

If I had to change anything when I did this all over again, I would have bought a clear frame instead of a black one as the color really doesn't matter, I would have bought three packs of the black or gold motors instead of the assorted three pack, and I would have bought tri-blade props immediately instead of buying quad-blade props. However, the quad-blades were useful for trimming down and running as bi-blade when you step up to the gold motors.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
