Spezi's Racewhoop 2024 - A maxed out 65mm Whoop with Custom design

After playing around a lot with 35mm props, especially on my Spezilicious frames, it's time to go back and spend time again on 31mm props.

So that's my maxed out whoop:

Some words about the design

The frame is white. I cleaned it with alcohol, dried it and sprayed it with 2k vehicle paint. It is important that you spray from a distance and only mist the frame. Since the frame is very flexible, a closed layer of paint would begin to break. It would also add weight. The frame as shown in the picture weighs just 0.02g more. The adhesion is good overall. Of course, something will flake off from time to time. But that's race patina :D

Some words about the Parts

It's no secret that 0702 with high kv harmonize very well with bi blades. I'm currently flying with an Motor output limit of 95% and feel very comfortable. The new 5 in 1 Betafpv Air Fc does a very good job and works out of the box as described. Only the stoke tune is absolutely for the trash can. But that's actually normal with most fcs. I took my own linear antenna to save 0.3 compared to the stoked one. You can save almost 0.2 grams on the Betafpv battery cable if you simply pull off the rubber at the back. (I don't give a shit about insulation on this place. I take the risk.) I also shortened the plastic on the sides. You can certainly get this build to 15.7-15.8g without any problem. To do this, I would switch to a Runcam nano and remove the camera connector from the FC. You could also save 0.1-0.2g with alternative camera mounts. However, I still wanted a robust whoop and am convinced of my TPU canopy. It also looks nice. Maybe I'll switch to the Runcam Nano 3 to get the 15,xx, but unfortunately I've run out of good ones from before 2021 :D
