Nice compact frame - feels solid and the very nicely done build video shows the amount of thinking that went into it. I usually fly in the countryside so gps/buzzer are vital in those scenarios (speaking after many hours spent looking for quads ;) ). I used some F60 1750kv I had from a previous build - keeping the kv low to have plenty of throttle resolution for close quarter flying.
I also just cannot get over those LED's - and Lee @ 3d-aqua (ebay UK) is making it so easy sorting out those gloves in not time :)
Apart from that - I followed the recommnended build tutorial.
It flies very well straight away - using the PID settings from the build tutorial so very little left to do - planning to do my first a bando soon and this should be the perfect weapon for it :)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
