FROG RACE 218 FREESTYLER ON-A-BUDGET MURDER EDITION-------BUILD IN PROGRESS
I wanted this quad to tick 5 boxes: Black / Budget / Durable / Light Weight / FUN. I chose the "Murdered-out" theme, which in the car styling scene means basically all components to comprise of the color BLACK as much as possible. Choosing a 4 mm simple, rigid and robust carbon X-frame (that near completely protects your fpv camera from any external impacts) is a GREAT place to start for any build imo. So i chose the Transtec Frog "RACE" 218 carbon frame kit. I intend to paint the Silver Aluminium Frame gloss-black to fit in with the theme. The ultra-wallet friendly ($29 for 4!!!) and punchy Black Racerstar 2205-2300kv brushless motors with Black HQ 5x4.5x3 V3 props were my propulsion system of choice. Other ultra-light components include the proven Runcam Swift-mini Black fpv camera, Micro Rx Frsky XM+ full range receiver and the tiny Eachine VTX-03 fpv video transmitter. Trailing out the back sending my video signal will be a Dragonfly 5.8ghz Vtx antenna. To really complete the "Murdered" Frog look....the under-body of the quad will be lit up like a Christmas murder scene with four Diatone flash bang 'Blood Red' led panels. :-P TO BE CONTINUED.........

Looks nice!!. Although in my opnion the bare aluminum provides great contrast.
Also how do you plan on painting the aluminum. Remember you need to sand, prime with an etching primer and the paint otherwise the paint will bubble and flake off within a couple of days. You could also use plastidip which will give it a flat black peelable finish
